ਅੱਜ ਆਪਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਅਤਿਕਥਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਕੱਦਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਇਹੋ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਰੂਪ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ। ਮੈਂ, ਖ਼ੁਦ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਰੁਚੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿੱਢੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਵਾਗਤੀ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਡਿਵਾਈਡਰ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ, ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚੌਕ, ਪੁਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ, ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਪਾਰਕਿੰਗਾਂ, ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੇਸਿੰਗ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਝਲਕ ਪਾਓਗੇ
ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਦੀ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂ -ਦੀ-ਤਿਉਂ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਖਤਾ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਐਂਟਰੈਂਸ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਐਂਟਰੇਂਸ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਰਜ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੱਗਣਗੇ। ਬਸ! ਆਹ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿਓ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਓਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਆਸਥਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੰਗ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਓਗੇ। ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੋ ਥੋੜੀ-ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹਦੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ

ਅਰਜੁਨ ਐਵਾਰਡੀ ਹਿਨਾ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ 'ਚ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਹਿਨਾ ਨੇ 2013 ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੱਪ 'ਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਮਗਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਹਿਨਾ 2010 ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਮੰਡਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਟੀਮ ਵਰਗ 'ਚ ਤੇ 10 ਮੀਟਰ ਏਅਰ ਪਿਸਟਲ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨ ਤਮਗਾ ਫੁੰਡ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਇੰਚੀਓਨ ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਖੇਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਹਿਨਾ ਨੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਵਰਗ 'ਚ ਦੋ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦੇ ਤਮਗੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹਿਨਾ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਹੁਣ ਰੀਓ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ 'ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Heena Sidhu is the 1st Indian Pistol Shooter to be ranked World No. 1 by ISSF & the 1st Indian Pistol Shooter to win gold Medal in the 2013 ISSF World Cup Finals. Punjab is thankful to Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu Ji for considering to launch a high-speed train between Amritsar and New Delhi soon. Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today urged the Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti Ji to direct its Ministry for immediate revision of construction norms for water courses especially in Punjab, allocations of funds for Swan River and approval and sanction of funds for Upper Bari Doab Canal (UBDC).
The Chief Minister has also requested her to allow Rs 35000 as construction cost for water courses instead of existing Rs 25000 per hectare. The Union Minister assured Mr. Badal that she would soon convene a special meeting of all the officers concerned with these issues so that these could be addressed shortly.

These vans will fan out across the State to spread awareness about various Government initiatives. Through these vans, we will not only highlight the achievements of the government but will also create awareness about various social welfare schemes so that the maximum number of deserving people can be taken under their ambit. These vans, which were equipped with a modern LED unit each, will hold programmes across the State in the next few days. A capsule on the film Chaar Sahibzade highlighting the force of truth against oppression and tyranny, will also be showcased.

ਸਾਡਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ 14 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੱਚਾ ਸਕੂਲ 'ਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਰਾਪ-ਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਕੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ, ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੰਮ 'ਚ ਹੱਥ ਵਟਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ, ਉਹ ਸਕੂਲ 'ਚ ਪੜਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਜ਼ਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਬੱਚਾ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਵੱਸ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ 'ਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਹੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਵੈ-ਸੇਵੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਡਮੁੱਲੀ ਘਾਲਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਲੱਭ ਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਧਿਆਨ 'ਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ। ਆਓ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਕਹੀਏ…, ਅਲਵਿਦਾ… ਬਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ

ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ 'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਰਿਲੀਫ਼ ਫੰਡ' ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਿਵੇਕਲੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਵੀ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਫੰਡ ਵੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਢਲੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 20 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ 'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਰਿਲੀਫ਼ ਫੰਡ' ਵਜੋਂ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
With a view to providing free treatment to the persons inflicted with Hepatitis C in the state, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal has launched the 'Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund'. With this unique health care initiative, Punjab has become the first State in the country to provide free treatment to confirmed cases of Hepatitis C. A special fund has been created with an initial contribution of Rs.20 crore called the Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund for this purpose.

ਹੁਣ ਸੂਬੇ 'ਚ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ 70 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵਧ ਕੇ 12,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
