ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰਲਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸਦਕਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਨਵੀਨਤਾਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਸੀਂ 50 ਹਾਈ-ਟੈਕ ਐਲ.ਈ.ਡੀ ਵੈਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ 50 ਵੈਨਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਬਤਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ, ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਗੀਆਂ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੈਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਣਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਹਾ ਲੈ ਸਕਣ। ਹਰੇਕ ਵੈਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚ-ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਐਲ.ਈ.ਡੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅਗਲੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਉਲੀਕੇਗੀ। ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ 'ਚਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦੇ' ਫਿਲਮ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਸੇਧ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਰਾਹ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ।

In the first of its kind innovative project in Punjab aimed at bringing the Government closer to the people, we flagged off 50 hi tech LED vans today. These vans will fan out across the State to spread awareness about various Government initiatives. Through these vans, we will not only highlight the achievements of the government but will also create awareness about various social welfare schemes so that the maximum number of deserving people can be taken under their ambit. These vans, which were equipped with a modern LED unit each, will hold programmes across the State in the next few days. A capsule on the film Chaar Sahibzade highlighting the force of truth against oppression and tyranny, will also be showcased.

ਸਾਡਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ 14 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੱਚਾ ਸਕੂਲ 'ਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਰਾਪ-ਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਕੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ, ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੰਮ 'ਚ ਹੱਥ ਵਟਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ 'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਰਿਲੀਫ਼ ਫੰਡ' ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਿਵੇਕਲੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਵੀ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਫੰਡ ਵੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਢਲੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 20 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ 'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਰਿਲੀਫ਼ ਫੰਡ' ਵਜੋਂ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

With a view to providing free treatment to the persons inflicted with Hepatitis C in the state, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal has launched the 'Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund'. With this unique health care initiative, Punjab has become the first State in the country to provide free treatment to confirmed cases of Hepatitis C. A special fund has been created with an initial contribution of Rs.20 crore called the Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund for this purpose.

ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ 9 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਜਕੈਟ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 9 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਸੂਬੇ 'ਚ 1542.14 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ 210.02 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਾਰੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਪਿਛਲੇ 3 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ 'ਚ 172 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਇਜ਼ਾਫ਼ਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਹੁਣ ਸੂਬੇ 'ਚ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ 70 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵਧ ਕੇ 12,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
