ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਣੀ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਰੇਖਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਵਬਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ ਚੂੜੀਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਨ। ਬਟਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਲ ਪਿੰਡ 'ਚ ਲੋਕ ਰੈਲੀਆਂ 'ਚ ਬੋਲਦਿਆ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal held Sangat Darshan program in Fatehgarh Churian today and addressed public gatherings at Batala and Ball village. He said that water was the lifeline of state and SAD-BJP alliance government was duty-bound to protect every single drop of water in the state. He said they were ready to make every sacrifice for protecting the waters of the state at every cost.
