'Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund'
ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ 'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਰਿਲੀਫ਼ ਫੰਡ' ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਿਵੇਕਲੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਵੀ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਫੰਡ ਵੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਢਲੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 20 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ 'ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਸੀ ਰਿਲੀਫ਼ ਫੰਡ' ਵਜੋਂ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
With a view to providing free treatment to the persons inflicted with Hepatitis C in the state, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal has launched the 'Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund'. With this unique health care initiative, Punjab has become the first State in the country to provide free treatment to confirmed cases of Hepatitis C. A special fund has been created with an initial contribution of Rs.20 crore called the Mukh Mantri Punjab Hepatitis C Relief Fund for this purpose.
